VersionTracker Pro 4.0 for Windows tracks your installed software, and notifies you when software it´s out-of-date.
VersionTracker Pro 4.0 requires to be run on a computer with Windows Vista, XP, or 2000, having an Intel Pentium or better processor, 64 MB RAM, 3 MB of disk space, an Internet connection and a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
VersionTracker is a service by CNet. When you install the program, you´re offered to perform a Free Scan (one-time scan for programs and drivers), Purchase the program or Register it.
When the Free Scan ends, the program shows you the list of programs and drivers installed on your system, with their version numbers. It will inform you if there´s a new version available, and would bring you links to update them.
VersionTracker Pro 4.0 allows you to config automatic updates, will alert you if there is any feedback posted in any application you´ve chosen, will search for a product in its huge database. You can skip an update, yet you will be notified on the next one. |
